Join us on Friday, November 4th at The Stutz Building for our Recycled Art Preview Party!

The Indy Arts Council and the IRC selected four Indiana artists, Julie Satch Kern, Kristy Hughes, Emily Bennett, and Stephanie Cochran, amongst many submissions to participate in this unique artwork competition.
Artists were commissioned and given stipends to Goodwill, Indy Upcycle, as well as access to materials from RecycleForce-a certified E-cycler in Indianapolis.
A public preview of the pieces and meet the artists session will be held as part of IDADA‘s first Friday events on November 4th, 2016, 5-9pm at the Stutz Business Center at 212 W. 10th St. Indianapolis.  The event will occur concurrently with the Stutz Artist Association’s Pastiche Gallery opening and attendees are encouraged to visit both exhibitions.
On November 12th 2016 from 6pm-9:30pm, the pieces will be displayed and auctioned off at IRC’s annual fundraising gala, REVENT. Gala attendees will also vote to determine first, second, and third place winners-each of which will receive cash prizes.
Half the funds from artwork sales will go towards supporting the mission of the IRC who has made great strides providing increased access to recycling for thousands of Hoosiers via grant programs, leading the effort to pass IN’s successful electronics waste law and 50 percent recycling goal, and initiating Indiana Food Scrap Initiative.
The IRC hopes all will attend the free Art of Recycling Public Preview event on November 4th from 5pm-9pm at the Stutz Business Center and buy tickets to REVENT 2016 to bid on the artwork!
