The Art of Recycling Public Preview Party
The Indy Arts Council and the IRC selected four Indiana artists, Julie Satch Kern, Kristy Hughes, Emily Bennett, and Stephanie Cochran, amongst many submissions to participate in this unique artwork competition.
Artists were commissioned and given stipends to Goodwill, Indy Upcycle, as well as access to materials from RecycleForce-a certified E-cycler in Indianapolis.
A public preview of the pieces and meet the artists session was held as part of IDADA‘s first Friday events on November 4th, 2016, 5-9pm at the Stutz Business Center at 212 W. 10th St. Indianapolis. The event occurred concurrently with the Stutz Artist Association’s Pastiche Gallery opening and attendees were encouraged to visit both exhibitions.Read More
